Bherunda Pakshiya (Two Headed Eagle) is a mythical bird. We can see it as a wood carving in Ambekke dewalaya, Sri lanka. Here i have used a thin aluminium sheet as the material and a tester to carve the Bherunda pakshiya art on the sheet. And i have colured the background with black paint. This carving is 18*14 inches in size.

Two Swans
This is is carving with two swans. It is somewhat similar to traditional ancient carving Hansa poottuwa but it is not the same. I have carved this picture on a thin aluminium sheet and it is 20*12 inches. And it is covered with a glass frame.
The peacocks
Here i have used two colors black and blue and silver is the aluminium sheet's color . I have used a tester to carve the edges of the picture. so that the picture can be identified clearly from it's background.
Gajasingha carving
Gaja Sinha , The Elephant Lion is a traditional carving of srilanka .And it can be seen at ambekke dewalaya as a wood carving. I have taken the concept of gaja sinha picture to a aluminium sheet as a carving. It is a 20* 14 sized creation. Things i needed were only a thin aluminium sheet with mentioned size and a tester to carve the outline of the figure and the black paint.

A traditional symbol in Sinhalese art is the Punkalasa or the The Prosperity Pot. It is a sign of good luck and abundance. Here in my carving i have used the lotus on top of the pot , as lotus is also a sign of good luck. this is 20*16 inches
